The 7th Interstate Youth Training camp of Mahamandal is going to be held at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda School, Bhubaneswar, from 7th to 9th June 2019. Odisha State Branch is organizing this Camp as a part of its Golden Jubilee Year Celebrations. Ramakrishna Math & Mission, Bhubaneswar have kindly consented to spare their premises for conducting this camp.

About three hundred young men from Odisha and various other states of India are expected to join the camp. The aim of the camp is to infuse in the youth idea of self-development (i.e. character-building), social concern and citizenship, service to the nation, and national integration, generally drawn from the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. Those who desire to join the camp must understand the purpose of the camp and apply only if they are serious.

Mahamandal Units / Associations / Educational Institutions may apply online or send application under the signature of Secretaries or Head of the Institutions enclosing a list of participants with required particulars. But they should explain the purpose and rules to each intending participant before including the name in the application. Interested individuals may also apply singly.

N.B. The Camp is for men only. However, the Camp will be open to the general public during the three days in the afternoon and the evening sessions from 4.30 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.

Guidelines for Campers:

• The Camp is for MEN ONLY (Age above 14 years).
• Campers should reach the camp site by 3 p.m. on 07-06-2019 (Friday) and will be allowed to leave the camp only on 09-06-2019 (Sunday) after th camp closes at 10 p.m. They are not allowed to go out of the camp during this period.
• Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea & Snacks will be served.
• Bedsheets, Clothing, a plate (for breakfast & Meals), glass (for water) and other personal requisites are to be brought. For Parade, prayer White Shirts, White Trousers / Shorts may also be brought if possible.
• Cots are not provided. Campers should use separate bedsheets.
• Campers are expected to perform any duty allotted to them in the camp and should participate in all the programmes. Campers should take notes of the camp proceedings.
• The Camp programme includes Mahamandal Flag Hoisting ,Classes on Mental Concentration,Physical Exercise, Character Building, Leadership, and Patriotism. There shall also be Question Hour and Room discussions. Evening sessions open for general public shall have Prayers, discourses and Cultural programme.
• Discipline and Camp rules must be strictly adhered to.
• Camp Fee is Rs.150/- (Rupees One hundred fifty only) and has to be deposited on reaching the camp.

How to reach the camp?

One has to reach Bhubaneswar by train or Bus. Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda School is situated opposite to the Ramakrishna Math, Bhubaneswar on the Vivekananda Marg and is about 2.5 kms. from Bhubaneswar Railway Station on way to Lingaraj Temple and is about one kilometer from the Lingaraj Temple. Town Bus services and Auto Rickshaws are available from Railway Station and Bus Stand to Lingaraj Temple. One has to get down from the Town Bus at Mousima Temple Stop and walk down to the camp site R.K.Mission Vivekananda school.
